Terms, conditions, and Cancelation policy

We are here for you, and we want you to be happy when remembering “Kli-Kli” day tours or charters with a big smile. We, the crew and owners of Sailboat “Kli-Kli” will do all the best, to make your sailing experience wonderful.

To ensure everything is perfect and give you a pleasant and memorable journey, some facts and liabilities should be stated.

We will act as follows:


General terms

Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip. 

You must reconfirm all booked tours before travel as specified on your voucher. For safety reasons, we need some information on your age, fit, size and disabilities. If applicable, notes such as dietary requirements, pick-up locations and additional requirements should also be confirmed at this time.

It is your responsibility to notify us of ticket discrepancies. Please read through the details on your voucher thoroughly to ensure all details such as passenger names, if applicable passport details, ages and dates of travel on vouchers are correct.

It is the responsibility of all passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and “Kli-Kli” crew before boarding any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.

You need to allow adequate time to check in before the specified departure time. Please refer to the specific excursion web page for full check-in instructions.

Travel Risk / Insurance:

It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances. 

Merchant Fees:

ease be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 3% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD card purchases.

Transfers:

If excursion or activity offered by “Kli-Kli” include transfer, private residences, Booking.com or Airbnb properties may be asked to meet at the closest confirmed location. Failure to meet at the specified pick-up location at a specified time may be treated as “No Show”, for which the Client Cancellation Policy applies.

Prices/Extra Costs:

All prices are stated in Euro and include VAT. On very rare occasions, we reserve the right to alter prices and subjoin extra costs. Extra costs may include kayak, snorkeling or scuba diving equipment hire, luggage storage, extra insurance, extra linen hire, National park fees, Intensive Fuel price changes, Specific dietary fees, etc.

We will also endeavor to communicate these extra costs with you at the time of booking or the time when the extra cost will be due.

However, it is your responsibility to confirm which (if any) additional costs apply upon reconfirming your trip.



CANCELLATION POLICY

Client Cancellations:

This is meant to be a guideline. Full cancellation policies for each tour can be found on that individual product page’s terms and conditions. 

It is compulsory that all cancellation requests are in writing and sent via email to: cancelation@kli-kli.com.com. Cancellations attempted via online chat or phone will not be actioned.

The date of the receipt of the cancellation notice in writing shall be the basis for the settlement of the stated cancellation charges. Exceptionally, should cancellation of the excursion or charter booking be done owing to the Act of God, i.e. objective serious reasons stated and proven by Client (death in the near family, serious sudden health condition, a serious accident, etc.), the “Kli-Kli” will allow the Client to use the already paid amount as a prepayment for the next booking within one year period.

The client shall be charged for the cancellation in the amount of:

  • Up to 25% of the full excursion rate if the cancellation has been done up to 90 calendar days prior to the starting date, or if the “Kli-Kli” or Client has managed to find another client for the cancelled period.
  • Up to 50% of the full excursion rate if the cancellation has been done 90 up to 30 calendar days prior to the starting date.
  • Up to 100% of the full excursion rate if the cancellation has been done less than 30 calendar day prior to the starting date.

In this category of cancellations are also the situations when the Client does not come for the check-in (non-show-up case), or when the Client leaves the Vessel prior to the contracted check-out time (early abandon case) – in all such cases the 100% cancellation fee applies and Client does not have a right for any refund.


Supplier Cancellations:

Although we do not cancel our trips, we do reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason whatsoever, including adverse weather, mechanical failures, or circumstances that make the operation of the trip inadvisable.

If “Kli-Kli” has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance.

The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices, alter itineraries, apply a fuel surcharge, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport and vary itineraries and services if necessary.

In the unlikely event of your trip being cancelled or stood down, all guest communication is required to go through “Kli-Kli” excursions management via telephone or email.

During the trip, the Captain has the final decision in determining if a charter must be rescheduled, shortened or organized in a different route, due to extreme weather. Rain does not constitute grounds for cancellation or rescheduling. Cancellations due to weather or mechanical failures which occur during the sailing portion of a trip will be prorated and the appropriate amount will be refunded. All other expenditures associated with package trips, including and not limited to meals, lodging, sightseeing tours, and other associated expenditures are non-refundable. This will be the limit of our responsibility. “Kli-Kli” will not be held responsible for any expenses incurred to you in preparing for your trip, including non-refundable airline tickets, hotel reservations, car rentals, or any related trip expenditures. We recommend that you purchase trip insurance.


Refunds:

All refunds are in Euros and must be made to the card of payment. “Kli-Kli” is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations or fees, or any other merchant/bank fees associated with domestic and/or international transactions.

Where a full refund is applicable, there is the option to transfer the whole cost of the tour to another tour or “Credit”.

You will be emailed confirmation once the refund has been processed. Once the refund has been processed, it may still take time for the banks to clear the amount.
